Are you a new Visitor needing a place to stay or some help adjusting? A long-term Visitor who prefers not to settle in a house or apartment? Or perhaps you spend most of your time outside and just want a warm meal and a bed on rare occasions? Near the Sundown Docks in Grey Ward lies Finn’s Inn- a welcoming place for Visitors to eat, drink, and stay that is completely free of charge. Walking into the cozy, homey and vaguely nautically-themed space, there’s immediately a help desk of sorts, where Visitors will be greeted warmly by Finnick or another volunteer and asked about what they need. Finnick will do his best to provide- whether it’s a hot meal, a room to stay in, assistance figuring out quests or the network, or getting connected to other resources like the Firebird Guild. Anything you need to get adjusted to life in Caldera, he will try to help with- and if he can’t help, there’s a good chance he knows someone who can. Of course, guests can also come and go as they please without consulting Finnick at all, and you don’t have to be new to stay here. Feel free to use the attached tavern as a social space, or just drop into a room for the night whenever and leave as you please. The place is designed to be broadly friendly and welcoming, with accessibility in mind. You’ll find very large doorways, a grassy garden courtyard in the center for those who prefer to be outdoors, plenty of rooms on the first floor for those who have trouble with mobility, and an attached space with accommodations for non-humanoid Visitors and those who have more unique needs. If you need something unconventional, signs advise you: please don’t hesitate to ask! Donors Finn’s Inn is not for profit, so it runs on donations. Finnick and Lioriley fund it with their own Bones, but if you would like to be an official donor as well, comment below. Staff/Volunteers Due to the non-profit nature of the Inn, it’s preferred that people volunteer, but if needed, Finnick can offer a small salary (and room and board, obviously).
