"You got it." She stood up, hooked her arms under his knees and shoulders, and hoisted him up, blanket and all — with the assistance of some strong vines wrapping around him and looping over her shoulders. She wasn't particularly strong, but the vines sure made up for it, keeping him cradled against her chest.
She carted him off to the bathroom, setting him down on the edge of the tub while she filled it, keeping him balanced with a hand on his back.
He's never been treated like this. Like a child. Even as a child, he wasn't treated like a child. He was saddled with life-or-death responsibility at 14.
He's momentarily embarrassed, but he tells himself that if she didn't want to do this, she wouldn't, and rests his chin on her shoulder, his arms around her neck. He winces as she sits him on the tub, shifting awkwardly to put more of his weight on his thighs than his butt. Still, he smiles as he watches her with lidded eyes.
"Found some weirdo on the beach and decided you loved them, I think?" She teased.
Once the tub was full, she gingerly took the blanket off him and helped lower him into the water. "Do you want me to heal you?" She would have done it already, but maybe he liked the ache he most assuredly was suffering.
"Weird, cause that's also exactly what you did," he laughs, poking her.
He steps carefully into the tub and sinks down, sighing in the warmth of the water.
"Mmm, no, I like it." As she suspected. He slowly takes off his prosthetic arm, sighing again with relief once he's freed of it. It's useful, but a bit heavy and uncomfortable.
She nodded and moved to gather the bits and bobs she needed to bathe him, ending up with her standard floral soap and a cloth she dipped into the water and smoothed over his chest. Night Sky leaned over the edge of the tub to kiss his forehead while she worked. "Feels like my birthday with how fun that was."
She continued diligently washing him off, cloth brushing along his neck and the lingering red marks from where she had yanked upon his collar. "I will in a minute, baby. Let me make sure you're cleaned up, okay?"
"Okay," he murmurs, and lets his heavy eyes fall shut, leaning back against the edge of the tub. Her light touch relaxes him, and he feels so lucky to be taken care of so well.
He helps her a little by spreading the soap around, to his armpits, the stump of his arm, then reaching down to clean his lower areas from any lingering residue. All the while, his eyes are closed, practically in a meditative state.
Between the two of them, it did not take long. Satisfied, Night Sky put everything away and carefully slipped into the tub, nestling herself between his legs and leaning back into him with a sigh. The water was warm. He was warm. This is why she didn't want to get in before she finished - now she didn't want to do anything at all.
As he feels her weight on his chest, he wraps his arm and a half around her, leaning forward to rest his chin on her shoulder. He sighs heavily, his breath already slow and even, close to sleep.
They're doomed. The good news is that with Red Son's fire bullshit coursing through the whole castle, the water will probably remain at a steady, warm temperature the entire time they're in it.
Night Sky smiled and leaned her head back, closed her eyes, and gently rested a hand over his. "I love you too, baby."
They are doomed. At least, Finnick is. As soon as he hears those words, he's out like a light, going limp against her, his breathing slow and automatic.

He gives her a pout. "You're not coming in?"
